Three thousand rupees is too low for a healthy goat in Assam. At that budget, you may only find a very small kid or a weak local animal, and the risk is high. If you want meat or fattening, look for Barbari or local Osmanabadi type. If you want breeding, Beetal or Jamunapari are better, but they will cost more. Check teeth, eyes, dung, and walking before paying.
