Cow खरीदते समय dairy purpose के लिए Sahiwal, Gir, HF cross, या Jersey cross देखो। पहले गाय को अपने सामने दुहकर देखो, फिर all four quarters का CMT test कराओ, और पूछो वह lactation के कौन से month में है। Month seven to eight वाली गाय जल्दी गिरती है। Age three to five years, body condition ठीक, और FMD plus HS vaccination proof जरूर लो। Fifty thousand rupees से ऊपर हो तो Pashumitra या vet साथ ले जाओ.
