Tick control is needed. First, spray or pour a proper acaricide on the animal and also treat the shed, cracks, and bedding, otherwise ticks come back. Keep the animal separate for a few days and repeat the treatment after the gap written on the label. If the skin is very irritated, the animal is weak, or ticks are heavy on ears, tail, and udder, get a vet to check the exact medicine and dose.
