Calf stater

Calf starter is the right thing to begin now. Start offering a small handful from the second week, keep it fresh and dry, and give clean water all the time. Use good quality starter with enough protein and no mould. Keep milk feeding steady, and slowly increase starter intake so the rumen develops well. If the calf is not eating starter by three weeks, or gets loose dung, then check the milk, hygiene, and call a vet if needed.
