Milk yield is usually low because feed, water, or udder health is not right. Give good green fodder, enough dry fodder, and a balanced concentrate mix twice daily. Keep clean water always in front of her. Add mineral mixture and salt as per local feed practice. Milk her at fixed times, and keep the udder clean. If milk has dropped suddenly, check for mastitis or heat stress. If she is in early lactation, yield improves with better feeding; if she is late in lactation, the drop is natural.
