Cow selling price

A good dairy cow in your area usually sells by breed, milk yield, and lactation stage. Gir and Sahiwal often stay in the fifty thousand to one lakh fifty thousand rupee range, while HF cross and Jersey cross can go higher if milk yield is strong. Before paying, milk her in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, check which month of lactation she is in, and verify age and body condition. If the deal is above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet with you.
