Delivery?

If your animal is in labour, watch the progress closely. If strong straining has gone on for more than one hour with no calf or kid coming, or the water bag has come out and nothing follows, it is a difficult delivery. Keep her calm, give clean water, and do not pull unless you can clearly feel the legs and head in the right position. If the calf is stuck, the water bag is broken for a long time, or there is bleeding, call a vet today.
