It looks like calving is starting. Keep her in a clean, dry, quiet place and do not pull unless the calf’s feet and nose are clearly visible. If the water bag has come and no progress happens for one to two hours, or the calf is coming wrong way, this is urgent. Give lukewarm water and a little jaggery water if she is alert. If there is heavy bleeding, foul smell, or she is straining hard, call a vet today.
