Gir cow

Gir is a strong dairy cow choice. It usually starts calving at thirty six to forty eight months and gives about six to ten liters a day, with good animals reaching twelve to fifteen liters. For buying, check milk in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask the lactation month, and inspect body condition and age. If the price is above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
