Goat having respiratory issue

Goat respiratory infection is likely. If the goat is breathing fast, coughing, or has nasal discharge, keep it in a dry, warm, well ventilated shed away from dust and rain. Give clean water, soft green fodder, and avoid cold feed or sudden feed change. Check if there is fever, loss of appetite, or mouth sores, because in goats this can be PPR or pneumonia and it can worsen quickly. Do not mix it with the herd. If the goat is a kid under three months, get veterinary attention within twenty four hours. Treating it early is much cheaper than losing milk, growth, or the animal itself. Consult a veterinarian before administering any medicine or treatment.
