HF is a high milk cow, but it needs strong feed, cool shed, and clean udder care. For buying, see her milk in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, and ask which month of lactation she is in. If she is above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet along. If you want fifteen liters or more daily, one cow will peak only in months two to three, so for steady supply keep two cows with staggered calvings.
