Calf scours with drying stools is usually from feed upset or mild dehydration. Stop the black salt and millet flour mix for now. Give only clean milk in small, regular feeds, and offer clean water with oral rehydration salts between feeds. Keep the calf warm, dry, and away from dirty bedding. If the stool becomes watery, there is fever, or the calf stops drinking, get a vet within twenty-four hours.
