How much price should I expect?
For a ten liter milk cow in Meerut, expect roughly fifty thousand to one lakh fifty thousand rupees for Sahiwal or Gir, and about fifty thousand to two lakh rupees for a good HF cross or Jersey cross. Before paying, milk her in your presence, do CMT on all four quarters, check lactation month, and verify age and body condition. If the deal is above fifty thousand, take a Pashumitra or vet with you.
