How to recognise sahiwal cow
Sahiwal is mainly recognised by its reddish brown body, loose skin, medium hump, deep body, and soft drooping ears. Many have a lighter shade around the udder and belly. The udder should be soft, well attached, and all four teats should be normal. In Bathinda side, Sahiwal suits the heat well and usually gives eight to twelve liters per day with good feeding. Do not judge only by colour, because crosses can look similar.
