I have a sahiwal we bought it 2 yrs back before when we got she gave birth to a male calf but it died in a month but at that time it gave 5 litres of milk but now after a year she again gave birth to a male calf and is only giving 2 to 3 litres every time why and solutions

This is a milk drop problem, and the most common reason is poor feeding, late lactation stage, or hidden udder trouble. A Sahiwal usually gives better milk in the early months after calving, then the yield naturally falls as the lactation moves ahead. If she is now in later months after calving, two to three liters can happen. But if she is still early after calving and the milk is low, then think of underfeeding, worm load, heat stress, or subclinical mastitis, which is hidden udder infection. First, check whether she is getting enough green fodder, dry fodder, and a proper mineral mixture every day. Give clean water freely. Keep her cool and stress free. Then watch the udder carefully. If one quarter feels hard, hot, painful, or the milk looks watery, clotted, or yellowish, that points to mastitis. Also check if she is thin, has rough coat, loose dung, or poor appetite, because that means nutrition is not enough. If you want a real fix, get her milk tested and the udder checked by a vet. Treating this now costs far less than the permanent milk loss if left untreated. Consult a veterinarian before administering any medicine or treatment.
