Start the dairy first with one good milk cow or one good milk buffalo, and keep a small poultry unit alongside it. For dairy, choose Murrah buffalo if you want stronger milk income, or HF cross, Jersey cross, Sahiwal, or Gir cow if you want a milk cow. For poultry, start with a small backyard or semi-commercial batch. If you want eggs, White Leghorn, BV three hundred, or Hyline are good. If you want meat, Cobb or Ross are the usual broilers.
