I want a cow for how much milk per day?

For daily milk, choose a Sahiwal, Gir, HF cross, or Jersey cross. Sahiwal usually gives eight to twelve liters a day. Gir gives six to ten liters, and well managed animals can go up to twelve to fifteen liters. HF cross usually gives ten to twenty liters. Jersey cross is also a good dairy choice. If you want fifteen liters or more every day, one cow will peak only in months two to three and then taper, so two cows with staggered calvings are better.
