I want a cow for my personal use we just need daily milk 2-3 lit and min maintaining
For daily milk of two to three liters, a Sahiwal, Gir, or Jersey cross is a sensible dairy choice. If you want low maintenance, avoid high-yield HF unless you have good feed, shade, and regular care. For a small home setup, pick a healthy cow in early to mid lactation, with a clean udder, straight legs, bright eyes, and no mastitis signs. Before paying, milk her in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask which month of lactation she is in, and check age and body condition. If the price is above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet with you. If you want steady milk through the year, one cow is fine for this level. Treating the right cow well will save more money than buying a cheap animal with hidden udder trouble.
