I want higher milk yield for a commercial dairy
For a commercial dairy, HF cross is usually the best milk-yield choice if you can manage good feed, clean shed, and cooling. Jersey cross is also a smart option if you want better heat tolerance and decent fat. If your area is very hot, Sahiwal is safer but milk will be lower than HF cross. For steady supply, do not depend on one cow alone; one cow peaks in the second to third month after calving and then yield falls, so two cows with staggered calvings work better. When buying, milk the cow in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask which month of lactation she is in, and take a Pashumitra or vet if the animal costs above ₹50,000. Treating the wrong animal choice later costs more than buying right now.
