Marwadi is not a dairy breed I would suggest for buying. For milk, choose Sahiwal, Gir, HF cross, or Jersey cross instead. Before paying, milk the cow in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask which month of lactation she is in, and check age and body condition. If the price is above ₹50,000, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
