Milk drop is usually from feed shortage or hidden mastitis. Give more green fodder, good concentrate, mineral mixture, and clean water. Milk the cow in your presence and do a CMT test on all four quarters. If one quarter is hard, hot, or painful, treat mastitis early. For a cow in month seven or eight of lactation, yield falls fast. If you want steady fifteen liters or more, keep two cows with staggered calvings.
