My buffalo is giving less milk
Low milk yield is often from feed shortage, heat stress, or early udder trouble. First check if she is eating less, chewing cud less, or standing in heat and discomfort. Give more green fodder, enough dry fodder, clean water all day, and a mineral mixture. Keep her cool, especially if the weather is hot, and make sure the udder is soft, not hot, and not painful. If one quarter feels hard or milk has flakes, then mastitis may be starting. Treating this early protects your milk income, because even a small drop can cost you money every day. If the milk drop stays for more than two to three days, or she has fever, swelling, or pain in the udder, book a Pashu Vet on Pashushala for a proper check.
