My buffalo not giving milk
Milk drop in a buffalo is often from feed shortage, heat stress, early pregnancy, or udder trouble. First check if she is eating well, drinking enough, and not standing in heat. Give plenty of clean water, green fodder, and a little mineral mixture if you have it. Keep her in shade and cool her with water if the weather is hot. Also feel the udder for heat, pain, or hard lumps, and watch for fever, off feed, or clots in milk. If the udder is normal and she is otherwise fine, the problem is often management and milk usually improves in a few days after feed and comfort improve. If there is fever, swollen udder, pain, or sudden complete milk stop, it needs a vet today. Treating this now costs far less than the permanent milk loss if left untreated.
