Calving is very near. Keep her in a clean, dry, separate pen with soft bedding and plenty of fresh water. Give easy feed like green fodder, bran, and a little mineral mix, but do not overfeed. Watch for swelling of the vulva, milk filling, restlessness, and tail lifting. If the water bag comes and she strains for more than one hour without progress, or if there is foul discharge, call a vet the same day. Consult a veterinarian before administering any medicine or treatment.
