my cow is not well
Your cow needs a proper check because “not well” can mean many things. First, see if she is eating, chewing cud, passing dung, and standing normally. Check her temperature if you can. If she is off feed, has fever, swollen udder, cough, loose dung, bloat, or is lying down and not getting up, keep her in shade, give clean water, and separate her from the herd. Do not give any medicine blindly. If she is down, keep her chest-down, not flat on one side. If there is bloat, walk her slowly and massage the left side. If there is a wound, wash it with clean water and keep it fly-free. If she is not improving within a few hours, book a Pashu Vet on Pashushala or call one thousand nine hundred sixty-two. Treating early protects milk and saves a much bigger loss later.
