My cow milk is low fat how to increase milk fat

Low milk fat usually comes from feed imbalance and poor roughage. Give more green fodder, enough dry fodder, and a balanced concentrate with mineral mixture. Do not overfeed watery feed or too much grain at once. Add good quality oilseed cake if available, and keep clean water always. Milking at fixed times and complete milking also helps. If fat stays low for more than a week, check for mastitis or heat stress. Consult a veterinarian before administering any medicine or treatment.
