Need Pure hf breed with a milk capacity of 25-30 ltr , 2nd lactation
Pure HF with twenty five to thirty liters in second lactation is possible, but only from a very good cow with strong feed support and proper cooling. For your area in Gonda, I would still prefer a high-yielding HF cross or a very good Jersey cross unless you have excellent shed, green fodder, concentrate, and heat control. Pure HF gives best milk in cooler, well-managed farms and can drop fast in heat. Before paying, milk the cow in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, and check which month of lactation she is in. Second lactation is good, but if she is already late in lactation, the yield will fall soon. For any cow above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet with you. If you want consistent twenty five plus liters, one cow alone will not stay at peak for long; plan herd replacement and staggered calvings. Treat this as a high-value purchase, because one wrong cow can cost you many months of milk loss.
