No milk
No milk means the buffalo is either dry, in early pregnancy, or there is a feeding or udder problem. First check whether she is actually in milk and whether the udder is soft or painful. Give good green fodder, enough dry fodder, clean water, and a mineral mixture. If she was giving milk and suddenly stopped, look for fever, off feed, hard udder, or swelling. If the udder is hot, painful, or one quarter is hard, it may be mastitis and needs treatment today. If she is pregnant or recently calved, the milk drop can be temporary, but poor feed will make it worse. Treating this now protects your daily milk income, because a dairy buffalo can lose several hundred rupees per day when milk falls. If she is not improving in one to two days, book a Pashu Vet on Pashushala for a proper check.
