Punganur for purchase

Punganur is a small indigenous dairy cow, but for purchase I would still check milk yield first. Milk the cow in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask the lactation month, and check age and body condition. If you want steady milk, choose a healthy cow in second or third lactation. For any purchase above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet with you before paying.
