Pungnoor cow

Punganur is a very small indigenous dairy cow, good for limited space and family milk. For milk, it is usually modest, so if you want higher daily yield, Sahiwal, Gir, or HF cross is better. If you are buying, milk her in front of you, do a CMT test on all four quarters, check which month of lactation she is in, and verify age and body condition. For any cow above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
