Sahiwal cow

Sahiwal is a very good dairy cow for Indian conditions. It usually gives about eight to twelve liters a day, with good heat tolerance and strong udder health. If you are buying, milk her in front of you, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask which month of lactation she is in, and check age and body condition. For a cow above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet with you.
