Sahiwal is a strong dairy cow choice for Haridwar. It usually gives eight to twelve liters a day, calves early, and handles heat well. If you are buying, milk her in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, ask which month of lactation she is in, and check age and body condition. For a cow above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
