Show me Gir cows
Gir is a very good dairy cow for Indian conditions. It gives about six to ten liters a day, and well managed animals can go up to twelve to fifteen liters. It suits hot climates and is hardy. Before you buy, milk her in your presence, do a CMT test on all four quarters, check lactation month, and take a Pashumitra or vet if the price is above fifty thousand rupees.
