Tharparkaar cow

Tharparkar is a hardy dairy cow, good for hot and dry areas. It usually gives about six to ten liters a day, and with good feed it can go up to twelve liters. First check the cow in your presence, milk her before paying, and do a CMT test on all four quarters. Ask which month of lactation she is in, because yield drops fast after the peak. If the price is above fifty thousand rupees, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
