What price should I expect?

For a Murrah buffalo in Bareilly, expect about one lakh to three lakh rupees. Good milkers with strong udder and regular calving cost more. If you want the best value, look for a healthy animal in the three to four year milking age, with no mastitis and no lameness. If you want, I can also tell you the right milk yield and body signs to check before buying.
