What should be fed to a buffalo 20 days before calving?

This is the dry period feeding stage. Give good green fodder, clean wheat straw, and a balanced concentrate in small amount. Add mineral mixture and salt daily. Keep water always available. Do not overfeed grain, and avoid moldy or stale feed. In the last two to three weeks, the ration should be steady and clean so the buffalo calves smoothly and the udder stays healthy. If she stops eating, swells, or becomes restless, call a vet the same day.
