Which antiseptic solution use

Use povidone iodine solution on the stump. Clean the cord first, then dip it well and let it dry. Do this two to three times a day for two days. Keep the calf on clean dry bedding and away from dung. If the cord becomes swollen, hot, painful, or pus starts coming, that is infection and the calf needs a vet visit today.
