Yield 18 litres

An eighteen liter cow is a good dairy animal, and price will be higher if she is in early lactation, healthy, and giving that milk in your presence. In Meerut, a good HF cross or Jersey cross can often fall around eighty thousand to two lakh rupees, while a strong Sahiwal or Gir with steady yield can also be valuable. Before paying, milk her in front of you, do a CMT test on all four quarters, check which month of lactation she is in, and verify age and body condition. For above fifty thousand, take a Pashumitra or vet along.
